Featuring works by over 20 artists from the British Council Collection and macLYON, we're delighted to present Friends in Love and War – L’Éloge des meilleur·es ennemi·es together with our partners Ikon (Birmingham, UK) and macLYON (Lyon, France).
The exhibition explores the theme of friendship and the artists include Kenneth Armitage, Sonia Boyce, Tracey Emin, Lubaina Himid, Hetain Patel and many more.
For Belfast 2024, the city’s Year of Culture, six international artists from Poland, Thailand, Palestine and Greece will unveil Red Sky at Night, a programme of new work based around the themes of Art and the Public Realm. The artists have spent time in Belfast on residencies hosted by collectively-led arts organisation, Household whose creative projects celebrate the city, draw inspiration from its people and connect people and place. Supported by us in partnership with Household and Belfast City Council.
